The Dignity Lifts XL1 Extra Large Bariatric Toilet Lift is designed to help bariatric individuals maintain greater independence, safety, and dignity during bathroom use. As the highest-capacity lift in the Dignity Lifts lineup, the XL1 supports users weighing up to 650 lbs. and provides a controlled, steady transition from a seated to standing position.
Built for strength and stability, the XL1 uses four lifting actuators and four parallel 4-bar linkages to deliver reliable lifting power. The lift takes approximately 26 seconds to move from seated to standing, providing a slow and steady transfer designed to help reduce the feeling of being rushed or lightheaded.
The Dignity Lifts XL1 Extra Large Bariatric Toilet Lift extra-large design provides 25 inches of space between the handles, approximately 6 inches wider than other Dignity Lifts models. The arms can also be completely removed when additional transfer space is needed. Four wide feet provide a stable base, while the easy-to-use wired remote makes operation straightforward.
The Dignity Lifts XL1 Extra Large Bariatric Toilet Lift is compatible with most home toilets with bowl heights from 16 to 18 inches and features adjustable feet for proper positioning. It requires at least 30 inches of nook space and 15 inches from the toilet bowl centerline on each side. The lift provides 9 inches of vertical lift and has an overall width of just under 30 inches, making it best suited for larger bathrooms.
The included seat is rated for up to 450 lbs. Users above that weight can use the stable metal platform directly. The XL1 plugs into a standard GFI-protected outlet, eliminating the need for batteries.
